Abstract

Muhammad Mansha Yaad is a famous Urdu & Punjabi short story writer.  He write Novel in Urdu and Punjabi also. He is a famous T.V drama writer. He is an introvert in his short stories. His short stories comprises multi-dimensional meanings. To attain this purpose, he writes in Symbolic style also. This article attempts to analyze his short stories in the perspective of symbolism. Sometimes he used concrete symbols and sometimes abstract way of writing. His Symbols are neither so easy, nor so difficult to understand. He chooses them from real life, society, folklore, literary traditions and Punjabi culture. He used these symbols to express his inner feelings, self-actualization and psychological issues in our society. These symbols are very from each other and demands deep intention to understand them.
