Abstract
This article presents a critical evaluation of Malfoozat-e-Iqbal Ma’a Hawashi wa Ta’leeqat, compiled by Dr. Abul Lais Siddiqui and published by Iqbal Academy Pakistan in 1977. The compilation marks a significant advancement in Iqbal Studies, offering a meticulously edited and annotated collection of Iqbal’s informal conversations. Dr. Siddiqui’s commentary, prefaced with a review of Mahmood Nizami’s earlier work, enhances the scholarly depth of the text. With 21 substantial essays and well-researched annotations, the book is a vital academic source that provides a deeper understanding of Allama Iqbal’s intellectual and philosophical legacy.
