Abstract

Urdu novel formally started in the colonial era. If you examine the history of the novel, you realize that fromthe very beginning, the novel has been engaged in efforts to highlight the problems of women and the cases of oppression and exploitation. When Nazir Ahmadstartedwriting novels during the colonial period, heputeducational and reformative aspects in front. From Maulvi Nazir Ahmad to Mirza Hadi Ruswa, the novel had reached many milestones of evolution, and many female characters were presented in Urdu which are immortal, and imprinted on the minds of the readers. Inthe20thcentury, the situation changed drastically and the understanding and expediency prevailing at thebeginning of the colonial systemgradually turned into opposition and there was a change in the perception, perception and understanding of social problems and situations. In the context of this situation, many novelists came out who decided to rebel against the tradition. After the year 1947, when the situation completelychanged, novelists made the issues of migration and freedomandsocial conditions the subject, but also made the emotionsand feelings of women the subject and tried to cover theirbasic problems. In the third decade of the 21st century, when we (Urdu novels and feminism) try to discuss such a topic, it is estimated that there has been a change in the meanings and concepts of feminismin the present era. Today, in the post-colonial era, many Novelists novels' have been written that explain the feminist perspective in harmony with modern methods. In this paper, the basic debates of Urdu novel and feminism will be discussedand it will also be seen that feminismis prevalent inthe21st century. And what point of view does the created literature explain.
