Abstract

In an increasingly interconnected world marked by globalization and digital networks, the construction of identity has become a multifaceted and dynamic process. This paper delves into the complexities of identity formation in the context of globalization, exploring how individuals navigate the intersection of multiple cultural, social, and digital influences to construct their sense of self and belonging. Drawing upon theories from sociology, anthropology, and cultural studies, this research investigates the concept of hybridity as a lens through which to understand the fluidity and complexity of contemporary identities. Hybridity reflects the blending and mixing of cultural, linguistic, and social elements, resulting in the emergence of new and evolving identities that transcend traditional boundaries.
